About Bertolozi's Pizzeria

Step into Bertolozi’s Pizzeria, a throwback to the golden era of Chicago’s neighborhood taverns, where the beer was cold, the jukebox was loud, and the pizza was cracker-thin and cut tavern-style. Inspired by pizza techniques that were developed in the 1950's, Bertolozi’s blends retro vibes with classic flavors, serving up legendary cracker thin tavern pizza, Italian Beefs and Chicago Hotdogs.

Located at 4279 Roswell Rd NE Ste 101, Atlanta, GA 30342, Bertolozi's Pizzeria operates as a pizza restaurant serving Atlanta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (404) 748-4353. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, bertolozipizzeria.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 335 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Atlanta.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Love this place! The pizza is cracker-thin and crispy so it doesn't fill you up as much as traditional pizza. There are some unique options and are full of great flavor. The Spicy Nonna is my personal favorite and has the perfect amount of heat. Highly recommend!

Bertolozi’s has the best pizza in the metro ATL area hands down! I’m from the Midwest (Milwaukee) and was pleasantly surprised to that the cracker crust pizza was exactly what I remembered from home. The owner is very kind and you can tell that they not only care about the food but the story behind it and how the customers connect the wonderful wold they’ve created. Prices are great, food looks exactly like the pictures, clean, respectful staff and great PIZZA!

Amazing, super crispy pizza! The pizza is so light and fresh tasting that it’s so easy to eat and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. But truly what stands out even more than the amazing pizza is the service! The owner, Danny, couldn’t be nicer and more family forward. We had our 5 year old daughter and he was so nice to her and gave her some pizza dough to play with while we waited. Very family friendly and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back!

Rating this pizza a solid 4. Crust was crispy crunncky and thin. Sauce was good and topping had good taste, I do like their sausage. Not very many toppings-felt a bit shorted on the toppings. We had a sausage mush and g pepper and bill was $37 with 2 cokes. I don’t mind paying that of we had just a few more toppings-see pics and whats your take??? No service here you order at counter and they bring to you, the lady that brought to table was super nice. Not very big inside but there is outdoor seating.

OUTSTANDING CHICAGO TAVERN STYLE PIZZA!!!! The owner and staff are excellent!! Order or get there early because they get very busy and they could possibly sell out or get so many orders that the wait times can run almost an hour. Don’t be like some customers I’ve recently witnessed and be rude because you can’t get it in your timeframe. I’m certain they didn’t expect to get bombarded with orders when they first decided to open a brick and mortar location or anticipated a social media celebrity with 5.6 million subscribers to review them and make the place insanely busy. Take this into consideration when you order or stop by and don’t be a hemorrhoid to the staff that’s working the best they can to get orders out.
